Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know we had a house fire last Tuesday and lost everything in our house including our beloved dog Sandy,and all Ulias memmories from Russia/Perm.We are still pretty much in shock and are dealing with things on a day to day basis.Zack (7) is having a really hard time so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as we deal with this.

I am so sorry to read this. I have a huge lump in my throat as this is my worst fear! I am so very sorry.
I know I am far away and we barely know each other, but if there's something you can think of that I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.
If you'd like me to, I can send you all of my sight-seeing pictures from our time in Perm. At least you'd have those. Just let me know if & when you'd like them.

I'm so sorry to hear your news, especially about your dog. I can't imagine how hard it must be to deal with it all.
I too have many photos of Perm on my Flickr site if you'd like to have any of them.

I'm so sorry to hear your news. We got our camera bag stolen on our way home from Haiti. It was the first time meeting two of our children and in the bag was our 1st Video of MEETING THEM! It was such a Huge LOSS! I was like God my kids have no history, this video was there history in the making and now it's gone! Talk about grief. I can't imagine loosing a whole home and the memories. I will remember you family in prayers. Emma

I'm a fellow Perm mama too, and we had a house fire while I was in Perm, on my 2nd trip. It is devastating. Our fire was April 7th, 2008, and we just moved back home (our house had to be built from scratch, including our foundation) about a month ago. If you'd like any of my pictures, let me know and I'll send them to you (I also have pics of the ice caves in Kungur and the court house in Kurdymkar).
